The original organ-choral only has three parts,
- a "walking" bass indicating the harmonic basis,
- above an ever repeating figuration in the soprano
- and the wide-spaced solemn tenor-choral.

The arranger felt free to add harmonization to the
upper parts, but every player ought to play his part
smooth and sincerely throughout and only let the
instrumentation outline the dynamic form.
